Hey Mags or Ryan, do you know if we'll be able to have fire pits in the parking lot?

No fires, like always. Big views all day and big sky at night. New drive in camping area with Porta Johns. Nordic facility is closed for this Launch due to some electrical problems, but the course remains and the bathrooms will be open at tournament central all weekend - 24 hours. No showers, sorry.

ok so, all the courses will be set up by friday, AND entry fee will include friday's lift ticket for practice. i'm going to try to get there as early as possible friday to play at least 2 of these courses.

any chance on finding out what courses my pool will play on saturday? i'd like to practice those first before i get my face melted off by WEEN friday night.

edit: oh, and thanks for that map. this is going to be bad. ass.

so is the 909 course just an extension of the alpine 9 course to be played after you finish alpine 9 (unless you start on 909 like mpo3)?

The Alpine 9 and the 909 will be played as one 18. This allows for an extra starting location, adds some cool terrain to the base area, improves the spectator experience from the lift and/or by foot.

Seriously though........

It hasnt been cold enough to produce the "crazy white stuff" that we LOVE here at Mt Bachelor.
At night, Its actually been warmer up there than down in Bend.
(40 vs mid 30's)

Thunder storms "shouldnt" be an issue due to the cooler temps. The really wicked storms kick up when its in the 80's-90's. We wont even get close to those temps.

Thanks Ryan and crew for another great tourny! It's easy to see that a lot of hard work has been put into this series and the effort is very much appreciated!
