Default Best 9

Juniper Hills may be the most under-rated course in Oregon. I had the opportunity to play it again last weekend. This is probably the best 9 hole course I have ever played.

The course is very well thought out and has an excellent mix of holes. A few flat, a few up hill, and a few downhill. The signature hole is a 500' downhill monster that is really fun. There is also and excellent mix of righty/lefty/straight shots. The course isn't crazy hard or unfair, but none of the holes are gimmies, either. There are a couple of holes around or under 250' and 3 holes over 400'.

Stop by and give it a try if you're heading through Madras on your way to or from Bend.
