Default Willamette Open Qualifier

Anybody know what this is about? Is it a fundraiser or an actual qualifier for the event? I didn't see it anywhere except PDGA.com so if I am stealing thunder I apologize. I was just out there looking for the next several months of tourneys that I might want to play in and saw this. I am not speculating, but if it is a qualifier for registration to a tourney, I LOVE THE IDEA! If it is just a name, well that is good too. Anybody notice that alot of creativity comes out of Corvallis? Thanks Willamette Disc Club.
Now, that does not mean I am in any way disparraging any other clubs. Absolutely not!!!!!!! I love what all the clubs do for the game. just mentioning something I have noticed. Giving credit where credit is due. I am definitely NOT playing favorites.

I have mentioned the idea a few times, with the number of people trying to get into the big ones, qualifing tournaments would be a great sourse of revenue for the tournaments as well, ten dollars per person to the event, four full field qualifiers would raise 5,760, add that to the 17,000 raised at the bsf and that would have been 23,000 added, did anyone else notice how we kicked ass on added cash to the bsf, better than any other stop on the tour, go qualifiers,

Wow, you guys don't miss a beat. I submitted that to the PDGA on Sunday and they just posted it up yesterday!

I also just posted some info on the upcoming events page, and I will have a flyer to answer any questions shortly.

Thanks,
Dion

1. Look here: http://www.pdga.com/event?TournID=9385

2. Use the calendar: (At the top of this page, click Calendar, then click Options, Search For Events, type "qualifier" and click Search, you will get, among others: http://freecal.brownbearsw.com/TreeLove?Op=PopupWi...978383&Source=

3. The original thread: http://www.nwdiscgolfnews.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1824

4. When you post something like "I saw xxx on PDGA...", take the extra 5 seconds to post a hyperlink; it saves hundreds of other people from repeating your legwork.

Have an informational day!
