Agreed on the dogs and kids and tournies thing...

... plus, Reagan would probably be all sneaky and try to psyche out the other ladies too much... jk, of course.

I had a good golf day on Saturday, and got personal bests at both Leverich and Pier. I'm a real beginner, and I'm excited that I'm seeing some improvement! I got a 58 at Leverich (first time under 5/hole), and beat my husband on two holes. I don't remember my previous best there, but I know I've never even gotten close to 5/hole. I got a 118 at Pier, which is significantly better than my previous best -- 124. That's significant progress towards one of my 2010 goals of getting down to 108 at Pier by the end of the year.

I'm planning to get a lesson within the next month, if we can find a date that works, and so I'm expecting to make more progress this year!

I'm excited -- I got my first birdie ever yesterday! I've been fairly consistently getting a par on hole 2 at Leverich, and I'd expected the same yesterday afternoon. But I made about a 30' putt (that I didn't think I had a chance at) for my first birdie. I'd been at Dallas park all day on Saturday watching my husband play in his second tournament, and so maybe some of the skill I saw rubbed off.

My best is a 61 at Alexander Park in Lawrenceville GA (thats where we live, hi everyone!). It would be a 791 round if it was in a tourney which would be a nice boost to my rating!!

My three-year-old daughter Ellie threw her disc 4 times yesterday and walked for an entire 9 holes in 95 degree heat (we had plenty of water). She also found two different ladybugs, dug in two different mole holes, jumped off a picnic table, and drew pictures in the dirt with a stick. All I did was play a mediocre round of disc golf. She is an amazing little lady.
