Overall, the first round scores aren't great. Must be windy out there.

A little windy but not bad, the scores from the first round for men are from the East side which always plays a little harder. Also Patrick Blazek's score was from the west side of the course due to having 101 open players. All the other hot rounds in Open were on the East Side.

Most of the local Portland Pros played on the west side to start due to sorting by player rating according to the method outlined in the competition manual.
