Cool to see him playing in it. Yep he definitely is the one to beat at this point. He has tons of game. He proved that at the HAB REC. Now I know you won't be playing MA3 Darr. Who wants, "beat by a 14 year old" on their disc golf resume? Say, aren't the new ratings coming out this week? It will be interesting to see who is still sub 900 and eligible to be playing MA3. You know I am just messing with you. It is wise for you to continue to play up. It will make you better. This will be my last MA3 event as I am playing with the old dudes next year and there is no sub 900 catagory for over 40 players. I get to go back to the bottom of the pack for a while.

Oh, and Kyle's brother (I can't remember his name) got Leverich's first ace on hole....9! I was not expecting 9 to be the first ace, more like hole 2, 8, or 12. He threw a forehand that was laying in the basket when they walked up, nice job! Gotta love the acing the first day a course is open!

Nice shooting Gwillim!

I shot -2 and -6 on my two rounds. I saw you out there hitting birds in the dark when I was leaving so I didn't think the 6 down was going to stand for long.

I think your 100% correct that -10 will be the record shortly. #3 and #4 are going to be the tough ones to get. Although with the right distance you could end up just outside the forest area on 3 with a good look at a 20-30 footer for a 2. #4 is going to be tough until it gets cleared out a little bit for use. There are windows there but they are very very tight right now.

Good times to everyone that was out at LP yesterday!

I saw #3 at Leverich ALMOST birdied today; it was a 350-foot drive (by a lefty) that landed near the path. #10 will take a monster drive and a gutsy putt to deuce.

My best round was -2.

Feel kinda weird posting this when everyone else is posting under-par scores, but I had one of my best days ever on any course when I threw a +6 at Riverside. I've only been playing a little over a year--in my early days I only got out maybe once every month, but have been getting out once every week or so, and have seen my mid-range game rapidly improve. I honestly think that the key to lowering scores is working hard on your second shot, and getting it into a workable position.

Counting them as par twos, I would have only shot 5 up. I can do better--it was just my first day there...

Still, -8 new, -4 old and -13 new is a fun day for me at Hornings. Plus I had the supreme company of the Breeze master.

Retiring? Hope not. Especially after capping the day off with a hole-in-one on the last shot of the day (hole 18, new course). Sicko. Hung one of his Breezes out to the left and let it slowly slide right....with the late sun at our back, the disc's shadow just kept homing in on the basket until...DONG!

Default 18 new: fun hole

I think that hole should be dubbed the "mini top of the world" hole. Pretty hard to get past it without emptying your bag.

Puuuh-lleeese. Now, Bob don't get all hurt--I didn't mention anyone else I played with because Jeff was the only one that was with me through all three rounds (thus the only viable tag challenge). It's always a hoot playing with you too! We would have probably had even more fun on that last round had you stuck around.

I had a great day out at Horning's today. Shot -10 on the new short course, then -3 (ties my PB) on the long course, then -13 on the short course.

(I should have had a new PB of -4 on the normal course, but somehow I bogeyed 16. On the bright side, my approach shot actually went past the basket on #13, and I parred it.)

And my friend Duane aced #4 on the short course with a lefty backhand.

Wow. Really similar to my day today. First time playing the new course, and I went -7 new, -4 old (pb) and -12 new.

Also, like Adam, I should have done 1 better, but I stupidly bogeyed hole 17. My approach also went past the basket on 13, and I made the putt, for my first par on that hole.

Also, I had 5 turkeys today. I've definitely never come close to that before.

And it was an especially beautiful day.

Haven't played Timber for a very long time. Thought I'd give it a try before heading out for the Slosh Series in a couple of weeks. Old PB was ~ +7. I shot even my first round. Came down to a 30' uphill putt on 18 to seal it.
Almost canned an ace, too. Hole 14, in the short position. Low forehand shot straight up the fairway, curled to the right at the last minute, hit the ground about 30' short, skipped up and hit center chains HARD, and bounced out. Very fun.
