Default What would you prefer.

Steve Carson and I are going to be running a tournament in June and we would like to see what the masses would be interested in in terms of player's pack discs...

We will be doing Champion Teebirds for sure, I was also thinking that Pro Starfires would be a good choice.

Anyhow, the list above are the ONLY molds I'll be considering, feel free to ask for whatever you want, but if it aint on the list above, it's not going to be considered. (One of the major joys of running things is you get to do what you want)

no.... those are completely seperate discs, the starfire and the starfire-L *SL*...
And that is just F'd up, saying you guaranteed to get champ teebird and the other option is a starfire, and nothing else will be considered?
We ordred
KC pro Avair
pro destroyers
dx ontario glow rocs
champ leopards
for the ODDGC.... so avoid those!

Try to get r-pro plastic if you can or the star bosses...
The poll list didnt show till after i posted.... anyways...

Well, it's more like we're doing Champion Teebirds, and then 8 other discs will be considered...the ones in the list above.

Nothing outside of the list will be considered.

just looked at my list that i got from innova last month, dont see any pro valks available. As for avair, they offering all types right now... same for the roc, except those special ones ofc... you guys have a recent copy of what innova has in stock? Cuz i can see at least 20 discs that would blow that list out of the water... ofc, my own opinion...
dont see champ shark either... justttt fyi, unless you got a more updated list then cool...

If there are a limited number of discs available at a tourney (2 in this example), it seems like a safer bet going with a mid or a putter. There aren't as many common options. For example, how many people do you know who throw neither a Roc or a Buzz? Pretty few. That makes those discs good ones to offer. You can't say the same thing about any 2 drivers.

So I voted for the Roc.

Editing to address Snap:
When you say, "blow that list out of the water," do you mean discs that are generally harder to find? There's a big difference between the discs you want for a players pack and those you want for sales/fundraising. The players pack discs should be the discs that would be most useful to the greatest number of players. The hard to find or specialty discs are better for selling separately.

Ok what i mean is if gonna look into avair, which is listed as dx avair, would you rather a jk, kc, glow champ, or star avair? Or for the roc, which is listed as a rachno dx roc above, or could get the kc pro, star classic roc, star ontario roc, dx san marino, dx ontario glow... And you are correct about the ones you want to give in players pack versus the ones you want to sell... and i do realize i sounded like an axx above.. so apologizes and hope no offense is taken by my overzealousness...

I voted Leopard. It seemed to me to be the opposite disc to the TeeBird so I went that way.

It's your tournament, though. Do what you want. No way you will make everyone happy.

Apology excepted.

I do not have a list, this is the way preliminary stages for me. I didn't really want to be critiqued for my list, just wanted to see what people would be interested in from the list I gave. Maybe I shouldn't have put up a poll and rather just allow ppl to babble on about why the disc they want is the best choice, etc. To be honest, I don't really care, and there is a good chance I'll just end up going with what I decide anyhow, but I am curious about what ppl would choose from the list above.

As far as the Aviar goes, I would be getting the good ol' Avia P&A.

Look again. Innova says the Pro Starfire (but ONLY the Pro) is actually the same mold as the SL.

Sweet, then when you come down to play the tournament, I'll just keep your free plastic for myself.

I'll second the Discraft rally cry (a little quieter) I wish I saw it more in the Oregon tournament scene, as far as tourney discs go. As far as the Innova selection, I still love the Pro Starfire, great disc, and a good driver for most players.

The Oregon Series gave Discraft a pretty good bid a few years ago and people would choose the Innova products 9 times out of 10.

Personally, I prefer Discraft, and have been throwing their plastic probably longer than most players here have been golfing. However, the general player in our region throws almost all Innova, with the exception of a large buzzz contingent. I would totally love to do Discraft, and I promise (seriously) to look into Dcraft for player's packs for the second event we're running. For this event, Innova has already been decided on.

It's an Amateur Only C-Tier that will be happening at Leverich Park (Vancouver, WA) on June 27th-28th. I can't release any more details until Steve and I get a few more things ironed out.

Yes, Rebecca may caddie for you, but I'm only allowing it because you asked so nicely.

There will be no bee at the event.
