Back to math class for you! That's ~11% Innova and ~89% Discraft.

And what's so bad about Innova?*

* Never mind, that was a rhertorical question. That topic has caused countless threads to drift in the past and doesn't need to be rehashed here.

of course, I am still terrible at the math. Anyway, I know what you mean about thread drift into the debate which one is best as I rather not go there as I just want to focus on those discs for this tournament only...

Going to be buying my wife a few discs before the Chick Flick. Should I go lighter or just less stable?

Why not both?

As a general rule, lighter is almost always better for the smaller arms.

I'm trying! I've been trying to slowly convert Nichola back to Innova.. but then again.. she's working against that by converting me slowly towards Discraft! Ahh - what the F*** Why not Gateway, Innova, Discraft, and DGA! (I know there are more out there, but at least those are what I do carry around with me..)

Ahh, Cindy is at risk of thread drifting by trying to pull me into the debate..nice try. I do have Innova plastics but I am putting them on hold until after the tournament as I am gotten used to Discraft for now.

You should bring out all of your Innova just before the Calaplooia

(x3) 150g star valks (all in various stages of usedness... 1 for left turn, one for super straight, one for right turns... and I always use my blinkers)
165g pro valk (longer, sharper left turns or if there's wind)
150g champ teebird (super hyzery shots)
163g champ leopard (long, straight approaches)
150g pro boss (super, crazy flippy... takes a delicate touch, but is worth it)
(x2) pro-d eclipses 164-167g (my discs to stop the bleeding... one beat, one new)
(x2) 170ishg (midrange, one super beat and very old, 10 years at least for annie upshots, one new(er) for the straight or more heyzery upshot)
170g r-pro aviar (putts)

oh... and a ?g champion roadrunner that I am carrying 'cause it was a gift from a pirate...

... and my raincoat, breathmints, advil, spare hat, gloves, at least two beers, coozies, hand wipies, water bottle, scarf, fingerless gloves, hand warmers, 4 shamwows, probiotic, girly stuff, probably a couple pretty rocks, fleece vest, snacks...

When you play here, I'm going to sneak into your bag and let you carry me around too. You prolly won't notice the difference.

Though, I may have to toss the girly stuff overboard.

I end up carrying a lot of my husband's discs, since I don't have many myself. I typically use:

150g Teebird Chick Flick
2-150g DX leopards
172g XD putter
150g DX Aviar
150g DX shark
162g DX teebird for windy days

I also will try a 144g DX archangel this spring/summer once the wind lets up.

I recently bought my wife Jenny some new discs to go with the hand-me-downs that I don’t use any more. She picked out a 180 aero and a 180 cobra, which are both great for beginners except that they are max weight. She tried different weights and she liked the feel of the heavier discs. Here’s the trouble, She is left handed but she wants her discs to go to the left. I wanted her to pick discs that felt good to her but now I am wondering if I should have insisted that she went with a lighter weight to begin with or gone with discs that are more understable. I have noticed that when she throws my old 167-168g Valkyries, she has an easier time controlling them. I currently have her throwing her discs with a lot of Anhy and I have told her that her discs will fly opposite to mine because she is left handed but she seems determined to get her discs to fly like mine. Her frustration starting to frustrate me. Any ideas?
