Default Greenway tournament June 27th

Just found this in the THPRD summer catalog:

Greenway has a 9-hole disc golf course.
Look for tournament information on our
Web site www.thprd.org.
Disc Golf Tournament
Saturday, June 27
10 a.m. - Greenway Park
Open to all ages. Call 503/629-6330 to
pre-register beginning June 1.

No information on the website as of yet.

Yeah, from what I've heard about the past tournaments, most "serious" golfers would be disappointed here. But I've also heard that this is a great tournament for kids and/or beginners.

I want to play in the "pretty good" division. I'll have to practice my putting, though.

I wouldn't let this event change anyone else's plans. It is a disc golf tournament in name only and will not draw any serious tournament players. Or even me.

I have good memories of this exciting event, the majestic 9 holes, the sweet lightning bag I picked up.

But seriously it's a good event to have out there, and I hope some of the west side locals show up, I'll probably attend, if only to challenge Brody for the title (I'll lose).
