work party weekend extravaganza!!! 3-30 and 3-31, both days from 10am till we run out of steam and gas.The plan is to clear fairways for more defined and playable fairways.Shouts out to Gene McConnell, he is being kind enough to rent a bobcat to help with the removal of blackberries and help level out the grounds. We will need all the help we can get to help move large piles of blackberries and limbs that we have been busy stacking up throughout new nine.So... whatever you do,DO NOT come out to help next weekend.

Where to meet? The new parking lot is off of 128th St. As you pull in the parking lot the new nine will be located specifically in the left back corner of large lot. Just show up and give a hand we will have tools,gloves,and morale boosters available.

I left at 5:30 and Gene and the machine where still going strong. There where 18 players who showed up to help. Too much LDS has my memory loss for some names I can't remember. Lionetti and Gene, Both Eric/k's Illg and Hasencamp Chuck, Swanson, Getty, Garrett Schwab, Brian and his GF (who enjoys baking),Miki, Todd and the other 6 or so.

It was amazing to see the trees appear as the blackberries disappeared. By the time this is all over there will be several blackberry assassins.
