Default Trojan closed 5/13/11 - 5/15/11

Trojan park will be hosting a large campout the weekend of 5/13 - 5/15. I have not yet heard whether or not the course will be closed, but I suspect it will be. Many of the holes will be unplayable.

Will it also be closed on 5/13-15?

Hath this whole world been mired in madness?
Remain ye men of faculty complete,
Of full arithmetic and prudence fair,
Attending to our noble bond and contract?
Or does here stand the last remaining man
To give a fig for rules and order yet,
No noble savage, but a stave unbroken
Who loves the law and bids it no misdeed.
I’ll not be bent to lawlessness. Mark it nought, if we be men of honour.

Wow, that must be some kind of large campout the weekend of 4/29-5/1/11 that it closes the park two weekends later...

Ah, I see where you were going with that now. I may or may not have made an error in the OP. That error, if it existed, has been corrected.

And yes, it's going to be epic. Unfortunately, I won't be there that weekend. I will be there the second weekend. Hopefully it will be just as epic.

Well, I was confused for sure, we know that much at least.

I enjoyed a nice almost two rounds of golf at Trojan yesterday. I noticed that the beavers have been very busy and we have some new wire mesh around the bases of the trees along the water.

I also noticed they cut and removed a lot of the trees that were downed and chipped A LOT of wood onto the highway berm. It would be nice to redistribute those chips to make a path along the bottom of the berm on holes 10 and 11.

The fairway of hole 10 is finally no longer under water, but you can tell it was under water for quite a while as the algae was able to grow right up to the berm and it is still quite a challenge to walk along the bottom of the berm.

It was a fun time playing one of my favorite OR courses and I left no plastic behind this time.

Cool. Sounds like good times to me. Hope it's as epic as you want it to be.
