Mr. Madrid will you be using groups larger than 4?? and or will you be using ghost groups?? or will you just be doing 4somes all year?? i hope to be making the afternoon round tomm.

Thats funny its been on thursdays for 10 years now and this,if im not mistaken has been the third year that he has started it on sundays,with 2 rounds.

Ding Ding... give that man a Chicken dinner for the correct answer! Dabney Double has been on Thursdays since the beginning with Schupp, Redfern, GRR and then me...cannot break tradition .

Kevin, I tried to make it but when I went out Saturday the next time I saw a clock was before I went to bed at 11am on Sunday. You'll definitely see me out this year though. It's close enough to work to make it in time.

Rockstar!! I thought the song went "party till 6 in the morn" you are a ROCKSTAR! There is only 17 more tournies this year and the next is this thursday. That's right 3 tournies in one week!

Default Results from 4/17/11 1st and 2nd round
What a way to start the season...SUNNY and No...let's just it was Sunny!

We had a great turn-out for the beginning of the year. 1st round 56 and the 2nd round 57 players. The morning round was a little smoother to play since we started early...the afternoon was a little different with casual players throughout the course with their DOGS ! I can't believe they don't see the sign about no dogs allowed. Anyway the second round was sssslllloooowwww.

I want to thank Stu for two CTP's (Roadrunner and Leopard), Charlie T. for another nice plate and Steve Sunnes (wine) for this Thursday.

1st Round Results
CTP's
Hole #5 Craig Collins - Roadrunner
Hole #12 Pinkal - Plate .... Joe G on the sly was able to get it from Pinkal.

1st Pinkal - Bob Leach (-10) $45
2nd Camo - David G (-10) $31
3rd Mike B - Jo Winn (-9) $25
4th Eric L. - Jef Cox (-9) $22
5th Zach M. - Skelly (-8) $18
6th Fat Boy - James (-8) $15

2nd Round Result
CTP #18 Fat Boy - Leopard

1st Pinkal - Skelly (-12) $45 - GO FIGURE...the two highest players on the course and the whole group knew it as well with the low groan throught the crowd.
2nd Searles - Jeff Baker (-9) $31
3rd Sean H. - Mike Lowe (-8) $25
4th J. Lankins - Ron J (-8) $22
5th Camo - Grummert (-7) $18
6th Eddie F. - Chris Jones (-6) $15
7th Jeff Cox - Ken Acquin (-6) $12

There were no aces so the ace pot already is at $113.00

Sign-ups will be as soon as I get into the park...I'll do a time cut of before 5:30 so we can play ASAP.

This year I will be doing a cut-off of 64 players once the page is filled the sign-ups are closed. I will not take on 78 or 82 people for a Thursday night that is a lot of work to get done before we get kicked out of the park.

OK there was one thing that didn't work for me. $20 bills are the death of me for sign-ups... I had 6-7 players sign-up and that killed all my change. So for now on if you show up with a $20 and you don't sign anyone else up. I'm going to tell you there is a small store just out of Dabney on your right about a mile away. Please help me out!

Can't wait till the next tourney...oh wait that's tomorrow.

Unfortunately, as I was reminded sternly by my ex-wife, my child will be singing his heart out at 7pm in Beaverton. Something tells me if I don't go my life might be a lot worse. So shooting for next week now.

Default Results from 4/21/11
Hello everyone!!!

We had another great evening out at The Dubs. We had 54 players show up and enjoy Dabney State Park. There were only a couple of rain showers, but nothing to be . The course is still a little wet/muddy/soaked on holes 5,6,7,8 but besides that course is looking good.

Already 87 different people of come out and supported The Dubs... Awesome!

Ace Pot.... Still going... $167.00
