Default March 28th results

We had 19 people last night for the first week of doubles.

1st TJ and Jim O'Connor (TJ parked a sweet drive on the second playoff hole) 10 under
2nd Steve Rolling and Ed Fairbanks 10 under
3rd Oz and Lunchbox 9 under

Ace pot is now up to a whopping $19. I will get Jesse to donate to make it an even $20...

This year we are handling CTPs a little differently. If you want to be eligible for the CTPs that day, you need to pay an additional $1 when you check in.

Check in is still 4:45, draw for partners at 5:00. This will be moved back 30 minutes in a couple of weeks.

Good times! See you Mondays.

The real question BA is, will you be playing with cutoff jeans and your shirt off again during doubles all this year like all of 2010?

Once my mullet (Louisiana Waterfall) grows back, yes I will be wearing my tight cut off jean shorts with no shirt or shoes. I will also be carrying a very crappy, but loud, stereo in my golf bag (empty 18 pack case) playing nothing but old Skynard tunes (turn it up). If you see a few 24 oz Icehouse cans tossed around the tee boxes, you know I am playing in front of you.....

See y'all on Mondays...John, See You Next Tuesday!

Default April 4th results

Despite the steady rain that happened all day and the muddy conditions, 15 people showed up last night. No Aces so the pot is now at a kickass $34.

$8 CTPs were won by Nasty Nate and John Stengele. Matt Broer would have won both CTPs but didn't want to spend the extra $1 to get into the CTP pool.

1st Place - Oz (anyone else sick of him winning?) and Frank Dorsett
2nd Place -Ed Airbounce and Whitey
3rd Place - John Stengele and Matt Broer (beat BA and Dale in playoffs).

We will now be starting at 5:30.
Be checked in before then.

I will confirm tonight, but I am guessing around $75. It's all in my back pack and smells like stale beer.

I just found out these missing baskets are either Fort Steilly or Riverside baskets. I provided Mark Kilmer's phone number to Mr sLiCc.

Thanks for taking the initiative to return these! Good karma is coming your way.

25 people showed last night for blues tees despite the pouring rain. The weather actually got nice once we started.

Ace pot 1 is at $100
Ace pot 2 is at $61

5:45 check in! 6:00 tee off. Good times!

Regarding the winners, I'm not sure. I think Oz keeps winning. He's an ass.

30 people last night.

1st Oz and Getty
2nd Shaun Lewis and Don Anderson
3rd Eric Cook and TJ
4th BA and Doug Hamer

FU Oz....

First ace pot at $100.
Second ace pot at $100
Aquafest fund at $25

It's been a dry season for aces so far. I think we had 4 or 5 at this time last year.

Thanks always to Jesse Ingram who does a great job of running this event. Thanks Jub for the CTP prize last night. Thanks Pete Land for trying to convince me that wrestlers from Bellingham were better than wrestlers from Iowa. Sorry about your ear.

How many years in a row did Iowa State win the NCAA Wrestling Championships?

Between Univ of Iowa and Iowa State, they have won 29 of the last 42 NCAA championships. Dan Gable is the man. He wrestled at Iowa State and won 3 national championships. His one loss in college was to a guy from University of Washington. He then coached Iowa to 15 national championships.

We did find Pete's earing the next day after about 45 minutes with a metal detector. Another Iowa wrestling fact....they don't wear earrings when wrestling.
