Peregrine Point - Chico CA - Opening Day 2-12-11

Being that Chico State is my Alma Mater, I thought I'd share some great news about a course opening in Chico, Northern CA. The local DG Club, "The Chico Outsiders" have been working for many years to get this course approved, funded and installed and have succeeded despite the many obstacles they faced. It's a great success story of two opposing sides working together, cooperating and compromising to get the best possible outcome. I hope we can support their efforts and prove to the community that it was a smart choice to allow this course to become a reality. My hat's off to the Chico Outsiders for all of your hard work- it looks like a fantastic track.

Too bad its closed most of the time, open only 3 days since opening day! It rains so much there the park dept.shuts it down, even after 3 days of dry weather after a rain. I post this so anyone wanting to go there knows ahead of time. The Chico outsiders have info. on their website. It is a great course, lots of fun shots in a beautiful area.
