Default Safety Opinions, please....

If I left my touring kayaks on the roof of my car and went out to play a round there at Dexter would the kayaks still be there when I finished the round?

Thanks!

I suspect they would be. I'd make some sort of attempt to lock them up but I've never had any problems with theft out there. The parking lot is wide open and there are several opportunities to easily check your gear throughout the course. The lot is visible from holes 1 to 3 and also after 10 -13.

Thank you for your input! I will have them cable locked and my straps are reinforced with steel cables, but those only go so far when it comes to a prepared and motivated thief.

Are you aware of thefts/break-ins occurring there?

It HAS happened, but not afaik an ongoing or chronic problem. If your kayaks are locked I'd be very very surprised anyone even thinks about it.
