Dang same day as day two of the McIver 3PO. Also it is Easter. Too many choices.

I have a 6gal glass jug that has been unused for WAY too long. If that can create 5-6 more gallons of beer, please do let me know. Would be happy to lend it out.

How come no one has even asked WHERE this event will be?

PS: I found it on the Scene: it will be at Horning's. Question: Will rounds really only take 2 hours? Will they be on Highlands? Or limited to threesomes? Typically, 18-hole tourney rounds with foursomes take closer to 3 hours...

I think I'm going to shoot for 10-15 gallons this time and I have enough carboys for that already, but thanks for the offer.

you always ask the best questions g-man!
it is at hornings!
yes, rounds will really only take 2 hours... i think
highlands? maybe. or how about like a three course 9 hole safari!!! what do you think?

maybe 3 person cards... depends on if it fills up or not. (you ARE gonna register right?... wish you could have stayed for the ice bowl)

i guess nothing is set in stone on the course layout YET, hence the...

((((((("more info coming soon"))))))))

hope to see you tonight, i'd love to here your opinion

Too bad I did not see you at glow, maybe you were on the Disc Van Go? We saw it leaving the parking lot (we were on hole #9 after starting on #2). Too bad the van did not get to Lunchtime in time for glow; it would have been fun to play with you all; I shot -1 for 2nd place and did NOT go ballistic at any time.

Thanks for the quick answers; I believe I will be signing up. I was going to play the M3PO, but I am finding that 1-day events are lot less tough on the family life than 2-day events. I am glad we have so many new clubs, new TDs, new events; it will give the players more choices, and make more fun for all.

I like the ideas you have posted. I think that playing in threesomes would be fun and great for speed of play. Let's see, with 54 holes, that place could hold 162 players in threesomes!

maybe:
Nov, Rec: play Highlands
Int: play Canyon
Adv, Pro: play Ridge

I also like the safari idea: we often play a fun safari that makes 9 holes out of the Highlands course; maybe we could to the same to the Canyon course, and play 9 safari holes there, combined with the 9-hole Highland safari! I think the Ridge course is too far away from the other 2 to combine it into a multi-course safari, though. But regardless of layout, I am looking forward to it! As long as I don't screw up and end up owing my wife a trip somewhere, I should be there!

"Let's see, with 54 holes, that place could hold 162 players in threesomes!"......That is a lot more food, already hauling food up there for 70-80 will be a chore!!
