Too bad I did not see you at glow, maybe you were on the Disc Van Go? We saw it leaving the parking lot (we were on hole #9 after starting on #2). Too bad the van did not get to Lunchtime in time for glow; it would have been fun to play with you all; I shot -1 for 2nd place and did NOT go ballistic at any time.
Thanks for the quick answers; I believe I will be signing up. I was going to play the M3PO, but I am finding that 1-day events are lot less tough on the family life than 2-day events. I am glad we have so many new clubs, new TDs, new events; it will give the players more choices, and make more fun for all.
I like the ideas you have posted. I think that playing in threesomes would be fun and great for speed of play. Let's see, with 54 holes, that place could hold 162 players in threesomes!
maybe:
Nov, Rec: play Highlands
Int: play Canyon
Adv, Pro: play Ridge
I also like the safari idea: we often play a fun safari that makes 9 holes out of the Highlands course; maybe we could to the same to the Canyon course, and play 9 safari holes there, combined with the 9-hole Highland safari! I think the Ridge course is too far away from the other 2 to combine it into a multi-course safari, though. But regardless of layout, I am looking forward to it! As long as I don't screw up and end up owing my wife a trip somewhere, I should be there!
