Man i love millsite too, but it looks like this one is a no brainer. Watching the civil war is free and i dont have to get up early Now if it were Sunday....that might be a different story. Maybe i'll see you guys at the next one. Have fun out there.

Default Beauty & the Beast

Well, I feel sorry for the peeps who will miss the Millsite gig.
I understand why and perhaps next year the scheduler may have to see when the Civil War is being played before finalizing the schedule.

Those of you attending will get to play 4 brand new holes on the "Beauty" side of the course.
Unfortunately this means there are 4 less holes in the "Beast".
This course can be "BirdieVille", as long as you stay out of the OB.
Personally.... I've never really cared to watch BLOWOUTS. Go Ducks!

Love the beast side though... 4 less Is there some new area on the Beauty side that we get to use? Cause the layout has always been awesome. Sure it will be again. Tough holes are good holes, as long as they are fair holes.

Go Ducks!

Copy that, I love the back side myself and will miss em, but, a lot more dger's would be missing plastic if we played the whole "cottonwood bowl" area.
The beast grew some hair this summer and didn't bother to comb or trim it. Josh went out and cut a few whiskers but it's looking pretty gnarly.
The new ones can all be birdied, and then again they could get some 3, 4 and 5 P's also, as they all flirt with OB, which is the beauty of it.
Oh yeah, hole 18 is underwater so bring some waders or hippy boots.

Hey, I should get some of that too.
I appreciate what you're doing buddy, thank you!
We better talk about ties and playoffs for points and what not eh?
Typically we split the points and the loot, if any.
Remember, Millsite Park used to be a log pond, and it's been raining.
Should be a gudt course for LP3.

Default How was it?

so how was it out there guys? I ended up having to finish some townhouses for a rush job for Adroit, so i ended up making money and watching the Ducks game. It was a win win, although Millsite probably wouldn't have disappointed. How many showed up? Who took it? How was the weather? Ok, Ok i'll stop asking questions now.

Default awesome rainbow

Jesse,
There were 76 of us playin' in fairly nice weather with little to no rain.
We had some wicked winds that ended up making a fantastic rainbow towards the end.
and the winners were:
open - Scotty Withers -19
master- Ron Cole -3
pro ladies - Q ?
adv - Eric Juarez ?
am - Kris Brannon ?

Default well worth the work

I'll be the first one to admit that these one day set-up courses are a lot of work and preparation, but it sure is worth it in the end.
Thanks so much to all you chain packers.
I've also noticed that we don't even have to mention to peeps to bring in the basket on your last hole, it's becoming 2nd nature. Thanks so much.
Hats off to:
Jen Mac who showed up and helped in the morning before she had to go to work, and then came back and helped us with the hardest part.
That woman can run a gig table!
Mr. Joshua for doing some trimming on the "Beast" and as usual, packing baskets to some of the furthest holes away.
The GP clan for bringing baskets.
Thanks to all who helped make it happen.

Default Results for Millsite

Here are the results for Millsite. I loved the layout this year. A lot of cool shots. Only bummer was not gettin to play the old hole 18, but the ace pot rolls on to the front. I predict it doesn't make it out of there. lol
Good shootin' Scotty!

Dev,
Thanks again for all you're doing.
In the Am's, 3rd place Sean C., should read Sean Koski.
