Default Disc Golf ACE Patches - Straight from Eugene, Oregon...

Greetings fellow Disc Golfers,

Here's a new idea that could take the sport of disc golf by storm, and it's coming straight out of the Northwest!

We just received in our first edition fully embroidered disc golf Ace Patches and they're ready for sale. Getting Aces is hard and not everybody has one, so when you do get one you want to tell tell the world! Well now you can let your bag do the talking for you.

Find out more by visiting our site: http://www.Hazardiscs.com

Let me know what you think.

Have a good one,
Ryan

$3.95 per patch?

It's a good idea, but it could be pretty pretty spendy for some players who hit a couple aces a month.

Maybe you could bundle them into packs of 10, or have one patch with the number 10 on it to account for 10 aces.

You could make some money on these if you sell them at an Ace Race!

I agree. A little spendy for the size of the patch but a very cool patch and idea at that. I could see myself buying one but it would be cool to see an ace patch with a # on it like 5aces or 10 aces so ones bag isn't littered with them. Well done though and I hope your idea takes off.

Hi guys,

Funny, I was just responding to another forum about the Ace Patches and suggested the same thing (about 5 and 10 being on the patches themselves for the high volume Acers).

Here's what I said on that forum: This is probably not the type of thing for someone who has 100 Aces; it's more for the person whos Aces come few and far between (there's a lot of us out there!). Although you got me thinking... What if there were a couple different patches that say "5 Aces" & "10 Aces" respectively, then someone with, say 38 Aces, would have only 7 patches on their bag? After getting 2 more Aces the number of patches would drop to only 4. Just a thought.
===============================================

Oh and we do have them bundled in packs of 2, 5, and 10 (The 10 pack price drops a patch down to $2.49 each)

Thanks for the input!
Ryan

Maybe we could all chip in and add twenty pounds to Chris Graham's bag.

I'm getting a lot of input from all kinds of different players, so thanks to everyone. First off, I'm going to be implementing a price drop and a flat rate for the patches instead of 'the more you buy the more you save' approach. Ace Patches with numbers in them are a good idea, but these first ones need to start moving before any new designs can be produced.

If you're interested in getting an Ace Patch but are waiting for the new pricing, it'll be up next week.

Some other ideas for ace patches:

- Sell little semi-circles with #s 5/25/50/100 on it. 6+ semi-circles would form a ring around your existing patch. When someone hits 600 aces they can buy their own 500 ace patch :-)
- semi circle patches with "tournament ace", "NT ace", 300ft ace, 350ft ace, 400ft ace, etc., etc. Obviously a lot of room for creativity...

Default Repriced...

We replaced the "buy more save more" pricing with low cost flat rate pricing. The new pricing is $2.50 per patch.

The first 8 aces will get one at the Mt. Adams Lodge tournament. Hope you can come out and grab one. Thanks for making these, pretty cool.
