Default Umatilla, OR: McNary Dam

After speaking with some people i found out that mcnary dam is putting a disc golf course in. They have an undisclosed amount of money set to purchase and install this course. Ive seen a map which tentatively gives an outline of area "dedicated" to disc golf. The area is very promising and the park seems very thrilled to be adding disc golf to there attractions!!

this one of the views you get throughout the coarse. the small green patch you see is land being dedicated to disc golf!

Please tell me there will be a shot from the top of the dam.

Somehow, I don't think so.

one of there "dream" shots was playing from an extension into the water on the actual coarse. the only problem is being allowed out onto that point all the time. It is something that could be a final 9 type hole apparently!!

It's on the map, and I've contacted the e-mail address on the ACE page to see if they can send me any details.

Not on-site, but surely there are places in the area; search around Umatilla, OR.

I tried, twice, to e-mail the "recreation" contact at ACE, and didn't hear back.

I'll Keep my eyes out this spring & summer for the course as I frequently go fishing there. It could be one of those super secret govt. things. I smell a conspiracy

Don't just keep your eyes out; ask someone about it, if you can.
