S'okay, if I must observe the advent of another ten revolutions, or more decadence, here ya go:

If Obamer has shown me anything, it is that Ralph Nader is right-on again (still). What's that title of his newest book? Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us. Everything the powerful do is to insure that no one else can challenge their rule. To this end, they only control the sciences and what these produce. Think about the tools of control. Spending most of my life looking at the history of power in the technological age, one thing glares: any challenge will be found out and struck down before a very low threshold of effectiveness it reached. It's left to me to pray a doubtful prayer that the powerful become the enlightened. There's not a lot of faith behind the entreaty. "C-m'on God," is about all I can muster.

By all means, huk discs, drink bread, and watch the circuses. It is what's left to us (until the powerful get that enlightenment thang down and see the wisdom of spreading the blessings stored up in their hordes.

Happy Arbitrary Calendar Burp.

Bob...

Sometimes you make me laugh.
Sometimes you make me angry.
Sometimes you make me sad.
Sometimes you make me think.

Most of the thinking is about exactly how crazy you are, happy new years Bob.

Crazy means you can ignore my ravings.

Yes, but without Bob we'd loose a lot of spice on this forum. Contentious and as far right as Brian was, he created a lot of interesting threads. Hope you're around for many decades to come Bob, our far left friend.
