Default Cougar Ridge DGC

This scenic mountain course is east of Medford about 20 miles or so, just north of Shale City.

Is it a permanent course, or just temporary for this tournament? (I.e., should I add it to the map?)

Default permanent course

Yes, it has been a permanent course for 3 years or so.

1) What kind of targets?

2) Can you give me a latitude and longitude of the start of the course? I know the general area:

http://www.oregondiscgolf.com/map.html?center=42.356,-122.625&zoom=15

Click on the coordinates in the lower-left corner of that map to bring up the crosshairs in the center. Move the map around until the crosshairs are on the course, then record the coordinates in the box.

The course has a permanent 18 tone pole setup. We are packing in 18 baskets for this event. The course is located off Lake Creek road... I will inquire this weekend if anyone has a GPS unit, and will record the Latitude and Longitude for you.

We will also have pictures and videos from the event posted shortly after saturday.

But you don't need a GPS unit; just follow the instructions I gave to locate it on the map. (I wasn't quite able to follow the directions while looking at the map.)

Here are the coordinates.

Center: 42.34602,-122.65081

See that large Meadow that really stands out... the back 9 runs along the tree line closest to the road.

ALSO... there is now a Course Map for Cougar Ridge and an Information box at the start of the course.
