Hath this whole world been mired in madness?
Remain ye men of faculty complete,
Of full arithmetic and prudence fair,
Attending to our noble bond and contract?
Or does here stand the last remaining man
To give a fig for rules and order yet,
No noble savage, but a stave unbroken
Who loves the law and bids it no misdeed.
I値l not be bent to lawlessness. Mark it nought, if we be men of honour.

Cool So very close

Again a match comes down to total strokes!

Vapor Trail took the morning 3-2 and then after lunch Putt This! fought back and took the afternoon 3-2 to set up the total stroke showdown.

Proving that they've sold their souls to the Devil, shooting Six Hundred Sixty Six strokes VAPOR TRAIL win the tie breaker 666-680.

Exclamation SSA at Riverbend...

I struggled back and forth about whether or not to go with 8 ratings points per stroke on the afternoon round or stick with 9. And now that we see that the SSA of the afternoon round was 60.52 it would have justified the 8RP/Stroke. Live and Learn.

**GEEK ALERT**On a side note, one of the improvements I've made in the score sheet is a way to change the RP/Stroke handicap value for each round separately. That makes it easy to check what different values do to the various match outcomes.**GEEK ALERT**

In the great tradition on Marvel Comics, I present...

Team Disc Golf What If?
This is how the matches would've turned out with 9RP/Stroke in the morning and 8RP/Stroke in the afternoon:
Vapor Trail 7.5 - Putt This! 3.5
Westside Slingers 3 - Good Bad & Sassy 9
Drunk & Disorderly 5 - Rockwood Roughnecks 8
Green Bowl Packers 9 - Asshole Casserole 1
Dark Horse 7.5 - Big Winds 3.5

I like the **GEEK ALERT** notation.

Also, thanks for planning the Milo day when there would be no rain. I appreciate that.

I have PLANNED for the entire season to be dry and sunny, let's hope that the weather cooperates with us for the rest of the year!

The score for the Drunk & Disorderly Vs Rockwood Roughnecks match was incorrect. (This was due to my poor data entry skills after the event when I was tired)
In the morning D&D took 3 of the 5 points and in the afternoon they took 1.5 of the 5 points. That makes the match end up as 5.5 to 7.5 and the standings will look like this:

East Division:
Rockwood Roughnecks 18.5
Dark Horse 13
Putt This! 11
Drunk & Disorderly 9.5
Vapor Trail 8

I'll get that to you as soon as I get back home from work tonight, but I am sure that it will be in the 10 Ratings Points/Stroke range...

Unrelated side rant:
In a shameful near capitulation to PC I almost didn't print the bottom part of the list. It was a close thing. Maybe I am losing it in my old age... But then I said to myself that being at the bottom of the list shouldn't have any bearing on your self worth as a human being. I'm down there and I've had a hell of a good time so far this year. So screw it. It is what it is. A list of numbers.
