Default Course changes

Juel Park will be undergoing some changes very soon. We are going to be pulling up the baskets and re-positioning them with new teeboxes (Yes, actual boxes. Concrete or stone seems likely) creating a whole new layout. It will take some time, but the parks dept. is helping out quite a bit. Still will be a fun practice course. Great for new, young, old. But also a great training ground for more advanced players to really develop some distance and focus on critical puitts. THIS UPCOMING WEDNESDAY Sept. 16th WILL MOSTY LIKELY BE THE LAST WEDNESDAY DUBS ON THE CURRENT COURSE. 5 bucks random flip. Show up at 5pm. Come out to celebrate on the eastside to a spot that has been a very special place to many people RIP ol' Juel. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

All,
I was asked to post this. There are some major modifications happening at Juel. This Thursday and Friday the Parks department will be at Juel park and need a lot of help on the course.

11:00 am start - bring a shovel and rake if possible, but not required.

5 baskets are being relocated
18 new tee pads are being installed
old tee pads need to be restored

Per the Parks Department, the course will be CLOSED for these two days.

Please contact myself or Steve Rolling if you have any questions.

Thanks to all that come out and help.

Amazing what a few Teeboxes will do to a place. The "New" Juel is up and is seeing an increase in playing volumes throughout the entire day. An additional Tee is being built farther behind the existing 6 (420ft) & 15 (445 ft) Teeboxes. Also a Practice basket and functional art peice is an idea that has been brought up. Safe to say some kind of practice target will be installed eventually. Bagracks and benches are also considered. Parking is handling the flow, but peak hours get a bit packed..If you drive up the street (116th) and turn right you can park in the rear of Farrel McWhirter. Yes, it is a small walk I suppose. But you're a disc golfer.suck it up. If you dont know, follow the trail to the right and keep going. We piss the neighbors off when we park all around there place. We may have the legal right, but they do complain quite a bit to the right people, and have been a major issue with us doing our thing. comprise for now I say. So far so good. As always wednesday random dubs. This winter will be fun. We should organize an Ice Bowl
