Default New Course Proposal - Presentation Material

Hey all,

Does anyone happen to have a decent presentation they have used to show the city/county officials the benefits of installing a disc golf course in a park?
Powerpoint, Word, piece of paper or stone tablets would be fine. I would like to get started on one and would like to see what may have worked in the past.

You can PM or email me if you wish.

Thanks much,
Brian

Go to the bottom of the page for one the SF club is doing. http://www.sfdiscgolf.net/resources/index.html They used to have more stuff up on the site too about the original proposals for the GG park course. They'd probably send it to you if you emailed them about it.

BTW, whereabouts are you looking, BA?

There is a new county park near Lake Stevens that just opened and could work. It has lots of land. There is also a park in south Everett that once included disc golf as "phase 3" of the development of the property. They finished phase 1, so it would be good to get this going again.

My buddy Jesse Ingram is the one that has already spoken with the Yakima Parks dept about putting a course in there. We want to get a basic presentation put together that we can use for these.

Thanks Scott and Tim for your help.

The previous president for Deaf Disc Golf Association recently made a really nice presentation to the city for an 18 holer that is going in now in Springfield, Illinois. He could send you a copy of his presentation... email him; wirelesskent@gmail.com...
