So, this is what pure envy feels like. I wish I would have been there.
I will be putting together a couples Mud weekend event ASAP this year. looking for the right timing.
Someone really should do a Mud weekend campout as well. NON-PDGA so we can party the whole time.

I would also like to thank everyone that came out to help with a little course cleanup at the Mud. Bob Cabal, Jevon, John Wilson, Pat (of course), Jay Filcman, Bill Ganier, Lonell, and Bishop showed up, along with myself, and between us and Bob, we got about a days worth of work taken care of in less than three hours! Not to mention, we saved Bob about 3/4 a tank of fuel in the process.'

For making the journey to help out, everyone was offered first crack at the new Lucky Mud bag tags. Jevon already threw his cash down, and everyone else there said they were interested. See the Lucky Mud bag tag thread for additional information.

Thanks again, guys!

Thanx, everyone, for the help.

The sun just burned the fog off so I'll headed outside soon. Mom's day might keep folks away today. Hand Mom a disc.

Troy, if somebody has a problem with our attempt to raise money for the Lucky Mud, I would be more than willing to speak with them face-to-face.

I had a lot of fun out there. The Mud is an awesome course. It was nice actually playing decent too! I lost a disc somewhere. Let me finish my coffee and see if I can remember where it was at.

I'll echo the Thank You's to all that showed up. We had a great group out there and got some work done, shared some food and suds, and had a blast playing an awsome course. After we broke off our group got to hole 16 throwing out of the woods and I missed an Ace by virtually this much (-). From the lie of my disc I'd say it came in just missing chain and top ring of basket. Dang!

Glad we could help you out Bob! And thanks to Darr for being our photographer.

Bob

After getting my FLX Buzzz flipped in that west wind, I too almost nailed 16 with my FLX Surge. It was a good rush, anyway.

Vote early and often too keep Fletch from changing the few holes where us geezers have ace opportunities.

It was nice to meet all of you. Good to finally place some faces with the names. Sorry we didn’t get there in time to help more, though as deliriously sleep deprived as we were when we arrived, I don’t know how helpful we would have been.

Ol’Bob: thanks for the good times (and that IPA… a tasty meal… even when watered down Hope you enjoyed the clams.

OTH Bob: Thanks for lunch. Those were some serious dogs.

Mitch: We’re down for the bag tags… maybe we can meet up for a round at Trojan in the next few weeks and pay up. Trojan and Hagg are the two courses around us that we haven’t played, and we’ve been meaning to for awhile.

Darr: I need to hit you up for one of those glow T-Bird's.

Heh heh, it was good to come out a few clams ahead on the deal. I got 'em cleaned and distributed yesterday. (Are cleaned clams the same thing as laundered money?)

A neighbor donated a nice bench top to go to the "D" hole yesterday. I'll get some legs on it soon and pack it up there.

Sorry we couldn't spare more... if the limits were still what they were in your day, we'd all have feasted.

Forty eight was the limit the first time I dug razors when I was ten.

My first year at sea in the navy, sea-stores cigarettes were a nickle a pack and mixed drinks were a nickle in the Petty Officer's Club in Yokosuka, Japan from five to seven (happy hour).

Yeah, I'm old. What of it?

Bob, do you remember Necco's, those wax pop bottles filled with juice, and Eddie Haskel?

Oh come on now. Even I remember those things. Of course, the latter was reruns and the former were probably sitting on the shelf since the '50s.

I haven't seen the wax pop bottles since I was a kid, but aren't Neccos still out there somewhere? I always liked the black Necco Wafers.

Ward, don't you think you a little hard on the beaver last night?
