We've been using a different name every tourney for a couple years now. The era of the Donkey Trap is now upon us!

definitely the meteor! I'm still mourning the loss of my afd meteor from last year. I picked up two to replace it, but they are just not the same...must be the afd Dion silhouette. Now there's two. That means they're twice as good....its only logical. I won't be able to play afd but is there any way I can get my hands on a couple of those meteors? Or are there only enough for players packs/ scrip payout?

With the stamp pictured above! I don't know about you guys, but I still have my Meteor from last year and it has quickly become one of my favorite discs! Which disc from last year is your favorite?

Heck yeah they are for sale! $15 plus shipping, or have a friend pick one up for you this weekend. Feel free to PM me to make arrangements.

Who is ready for AFD Bingo! Pro players will be competing for Free entry into AFD 8 in 2014, and Ams will be playing for KEEN Shoes, Discraft Tourney Bags and plenty of other prizes.

I'm excited, and feel this could become a permanent fixture in the AFD lineup. Any questions about any squares, ask them now!

Default April fools tournament

If there is any possible way to get in your tournament that would be great, if you have someone back out we will fill it on short notice. You can email me at hoffman007@q.com, thx.

AFD VII is a bring your own partner doubles event. Round 1 features tough shot and alternate shot formats. This year we will be playing 10 tough shot holes (in two seperate groups of 5) and 14 alternate shot holes. The hope is this will improve speed of play which has always been tricky mixing these two fun formats. Round 2 will be 24 holes of blissful best shot!

As usual there will be many special rules including the now infamous doughnut putting circles, the dreaded LINE OF DEATH, warp zones, mini baskets, island holes, hanging baskets, the forbidden tree, along with some new secrets!

We split the pros and ams again opposite the Whistlers SOWS event so road warriors can still play both!

Lunch will be provided and is included with entry. We will probably have COSTCO pizza again along with drinks and hopefully a keg of Calapooia. Amateur teams will recieve a disc each as a players pack.

Registration will be up shortly on www.4discgolf.com so get your partners figured out and reserve your spot. The am side has filled every year and we can only allow 48 teams!

Entry Fees:

Open: $80
Masters: $70
Adv/Adv Masters/Adv Women: $60
Mixed (M/F): $50
Intermediate: $50
Recreational: $40

Hope to see everyone back this year under sunny skies!

The Bingo cards look great.

First timer, so lots of questions. How does one get donuted? What is the line of death? Turkey = 3 birdies in a row? Forbidden trees? How do the warp zones work? Should the bingo card say tough shot instead of worst shot, or do we take an extra putt to earn that one?

I'm guessing these will be covered in the player's meeting.

We ended up going with 1-5 and 12-16 for tough shot. We broke it up like this in the hopes of improving the flow and having less backups to deal with. Ordered 33 pizzas yesterday so we are getting close to go time!

I am a huge bingo fan. I get down to the Lions club every Monday night and the Stoneybrook retirement home on Saturday afternoons. I have a complaint though. I plan on playing good and I noticed that there is no way to win bingo if I play good. What is a golfer to do?
