Holes 4 and 10...

What basket are we playing to. I have heard from a few people that they where using 10's jail cell for 4 and 4's field hole 10. Is this how we are going to play it or is it normal.

I honestly have not been out there recently. We will play the holes as they are in the ground obviously, but if someone could get out there and let us know what's up, that would be great.

I've never played those pin placements swapped like that. I think we'll stick with the regular layout this time though. I'll remember to check that out when we're out there. I wonder what the swap would do to the SSA. It might push it to 9 RP/S territory. Thanks

yeah there was only one pin change on the entire course ( #2 320' Straight - OB Right)
other than that it is more than likely suited for a rps of 10 - IMO

Default Park gates!!!

It is nice to have a good rep. with the Rooster Rock rangers...

Just called to see if the lower parking lot can be opened for the weekend. The answer...YES!

Thank you Oregon State Parks - Rooster Rock Rangers!!!

Let's make sure to pick up and leave no trash for the rangers to deal with after this weekend. Don't want to leave impression on the rangers for future events.

Default hole 4 & hole 10

Just to clarify Hole 4 has 3 positions... the field / hill top / and old pin placement for 10 in the trees.

Hole 10 has a short placement on hillside / original placement / and a long placement on the other side of the road (left side by the paved section of road - 40-50 feet from original pin)

I don't know where pin placements are, but for Sunday I can move them where TD Jordan would like them.

The numbers throw me off with the new added hole #1...

But I like hole 4 on the hill top and hole 10 in original. The one I'd like to change is hole 14 on the bottom part of the course. I'd rather not have to schlep up that hill in the wet and the mud. Don't get me wrong I love playing that hole, but we are fighting the daylight this week and that position adds time to all rounds played.

Thanks for being DA MAN for us with the Rooster Rock Rangers KEVIN MADRID!!!

Getting to park in the lower lot will save some people a lot of walking and me a lot of headaches.

Now Now Josh, we didn't trick anyone. They set their lineups, the fact that we noticed one of their doubles players hadnt played a singles match only makes us observant.

I know this is a long shot...I left a blue Lat-64 River on Hole 15 at Dabney last Friday. I was hoping that one someone from Team Disc Golf found it. It was a fairly new disc without a name and number. I would gladly buy the person a beer for the safe return of the disc. Cheers

Dan,

I depend on ODW to show each and every Saturday team the reason why they should fully understand the line up rules. If it wasn't for your tough love they would continue to make line up errors. Let's see how many more teams you can get this season before they ask me, or read the rules.

I personally find it funny that I mention a warning to each captain almost every Saturday event and they still make the error. We remember the scars more than the hazard signs I guess... This is the second time it has cost your opponent the match, will you give lessons on the best techniques to encourage line up errors please? We sure could use a spare 2 match points each day.

One could point out the mistake as a displah of goog sportsmanship, or one can be a DB.
I guess it depends on the person.

Hate to say it but... if after 6 events you're not getting the two basic rules - if someone plays doubles in the morning or sits in the morning, they must play singles in the afternoon - you probably need some help filling out the sheet. It is not the responsibility of the other team to help them figure this out.

Yep, important rules to keep in mind:

*** THESE ARE NOT OFFICIAL RULES. I am only reciting my recollection of certain rules. ***

*) A player must play at least one round of singles that day, or NONE of their rounds count

*) Seven different teammates must play at least one singles round that day for the team to get the 7-player bonus point.

*) Player slots must be filled on the match sheet in order from top to bottom (S1, S2, S3, S4, D1, S5/D2, for example, in the AM). There can be no gaps. Any blank slots must appear at the end.

*) Points 1 through 5 are compulsory; if you don't fill them out, you forfeit the point. Only the 6th point (S5/D2, SX,D4)) is an optional point.

*) You can only play Cali if your team has no other players left for you to be partnered with.

*) A Cali can not play against a Cali, a one on one contest must be played as a singles contest.
