What is the general ETA for going back to the regular 27 layout?

Spring. They pull the west side for the winter.

Does anyone know the reason why they take it down to 18 holes? My friends and I love to get to play the extra tournament holes but we were curious as to why they did this.

Wear and tear. The idea was to let half the course recover during the winter.

When is the next time the 36 will be in the ground? C3PO? BSF? Will there be a C3PO? Need me to run one (low key, one day, non-PDGA, benefit for ???)?

When will the 27 go into the ground? Will the 36 ever go permanent? I know some of the holes have issues throwing over pavement. But many of them have new pins eliminating the pavement... Is there a chance Milo will ever be 36 permanent, even if just in the summer?

What can I do to help this happen, if so? Work parties? I'm in!

A 36 permanent course has been the ultimate goal. We're working towards that but is a process with multiple state employee positions needed for approval.
The wheels are turning and should have something to share in the coming months.
27 holes will return soon. This will happen when more park staff is back on for the season...36 for the 'triple threat' TBD.

I'm literally checking this thread everyday waiting for someone to say that they have news on when the 27 holes come back. I've played at Milo twice this past week, and both times I drove to the west lot with my heart in eager anticipation...

34 holes are in! The only 2 holes that are not in are holes 2 & 3 of the 27 hole layout. currently working on hole 3 hillside to build trails and restore the plant life.
Not sure how long we will be able to let all of these holes in for!

Default Course Status 4/14/2013

Last Sunday (April 14), the course still had 30+ baskets up with just the ones previously mentioned (W2 and W3) out.

Default 27 hole layout

Milo will be back to the 27 hole layout sometime this Sunday.
Last chance to play the additional tournament holes until the BSF!
