RIO3 - King Of The Island - August 18 & 19

I wanted to post some new details for everyone!

1) The trophies are done and I must confess I LOVE THEM! Also be aware that EVERY division we offered WILL get a trophy, regardless of how many entries are in that division!! We don't move players to a division just because we didn't have 4+ players in a division.

2) FIRST PLACE IN ADVANCED MEN and INTERMEDIATE MEN will get an INNOVA BASKET! Just a little extra to be playing for this year!

3) We will be giving away a basket and a $300 paintball package as prizes for our side games!

4) pro/am skins raffle will be a 50%/50% split

5) We only have 3 t-signs left if you'd like to sponsor a hole.


We're under a week left until we kick this tournament off!

The online payment system will CLOSE tomorrow evening! This also means that any player paying AFTER will be charged a $5 late sign-up fee!

IF we have any spots left I will be on the course by 4pm on Friday signing up players on a first come basis. If you're hoping we will have slots left for the day of sign ups, I will be on the course by 7am on Saturday.

The weather looks AMAZING (Mid 60's and Sunny) both days!

hey danni and yammits, i have your address. greatly appreciated for letting me stay there. i will be in town roughly 230ish. I want to take a look at the course before dubs so i can get a few ace runs at those baskets. Anyways, cant wait for a great time looking forward to it. Anyone who wants to throw a round around 3 ill be there.

I'm waiting on the receipts to upload from the payment site and then I can have a TRUE number, this final 8 slots might be adjusted up or down a couple, but to be sure if you plan to play you NEED to get signed up!

Online payments END tonight (or as soon as we sell out) we will make a waitlist if need be.


I'm so glad we're having a professional photographer here Sunday, because this is gonna be a hell of an amazing event and I want to see it all for years to come! I'm a big girl that way!

The course looks amazing thanks to some hard work but our local players, without them this would be much harder on me.

Also as an aside I HOPE a lot of you will come out for a fantastic meal at FLYERS Saturday and support this sponsor that has support the disc golf community! It's a full meal WITH A BEVERAGE of choice (beer, wine, well drink or soda) for ONLY $12!!

After the online closes there will be an ADDITIONAL $5 LATE sign-up charge for anyone paying after 10pm August 16th.


If I have any open spots I will fill them on a first come basis starting at 4pm tomorrow evening at the course. If I still have available spots I will start filling them on a first come basis Saturday morning starting at 7am at the course.


We are having a RANDOM DUBS event at Ft Nugent at 5pm (sign-ups will start at 4pm) The ACE POT alone is over $300.00 !! Everyone is welcome to play if you're in the tournament or not.


Obviously Tim and I will not be at the house from 3pm - 8pm to help direct those of you camping in the yard, so please meet us at the course during those times - or - meet us at the house after 8!

If anyone has portable baskets and can fit them in their car, bring them with you to the island. I have enough for sundays 27 hole round but id rather be safe and have too many than too few, thanks!
