Talking Keizer Rapids DGC Face Lift

Nine precast concrete tee pads were delivered yesterday to Keizer Rapids DGC! Nine concrete tee pads are to be poured in place in remote locations. The work will be performed before March hopefully if the weather allows.

Changes to course layout:

• Hole 2 tee pad location to be reconfigured (safety reasons)
• Hole 3 tee pad location to be reconfigured (arborist recommendation)
• Hole 7 tee pad location to be reconfigured (arborist recommendation)
• Hole 10 has been totally reconfigured into a longer R hyzer (better flow)
• Hole 11 basket moved to short alt location (winter position)
• Hole 12 basket moved to alt position (wait till you see it! )

Last but not least...

Friday June 22nd @ 5pm we will be pouring the final 5x10 tee pad on hole 7. Bring your favorite beverage for the celebration!

All that remains is to backfill tee pads, fairway cleanup, new survey for new tee signs and course markers... And the never ending battle against poison oak.

It is my understanding there is a work party to clean up the fairways and a seperate prison inmate work crew coming for 8 hours of serious clean up including the scotch broom...
