Dallas City Open - March 17, 2012

This year's Dallas Tournament will be on March 17, 2012. Registration will be done through northwestsignup.com when things are ready. Since this will not be a fundraiser (unlike the previous two tournaments) 100% of entry fees will go toward payouts as well as the money from sponsors and the raffle.

Once again, the tournament will use an alternate 18 hole layout. This layout uses 6 of the original holes and 12 temporary holes. Of the temporary holes, 7 will be to temporary baskets, so if you have a temp basket that we can use, please let me know.

I will continue to update this forum when more information becomes available so keep checking.

Online sign ups are closed, but there is still room. If you would like to come send me a message with your name and division and you can pay day of (Cash only).

I just realized the title of this says that 18th, it's supposed to be the 17th. Can a mod change that?

Turned in the reservation form today for the disc golf course. My goal is to have this thing half full by the end of the month.

I sent an email to Valarie Jenkins today and she's going to be donating some stuff to the raffle again. I've also contacted some other sponsors and things are looking good.

All of the tee signs are designed. Once I finish getting sponsors, the signs will get printed and laminated.

Picked up two gift cards from Play It Again Sports for the raffle yesterday. If you want to register, but don't want to do it online, you can email me your information and pay day of. However, I wont be accepting checks on the day of, cash only.

Got some discs from Valerie Jenkins. She sent one of her limited addition Glow Starfires that she signed and Nate Doss sent a NukeOS that he signed.

I also went out to the course today and measured it with a range finder. The course measures just over 5200 feet. It's got some open holes and some technical holes.

I'll work on getting a map put up.

I picked up the trophies yesterday and they are pretty cool. There will be trophies for first place in every division.
