I came here expecting Xander's favorite quote to be "I think I will take a provisional".

I played a tournament up in Canada a few years back and they have a saying up there that I love... After shooting an unexceptional round tending on bad they call it a "beige round"... brilliant...

My other favorite is the new concept that is traveling around the pro cards in Oregon... "there are only two things you can say about a disc golf shot... nice execution and good result... sometimes it's one, sometimes its both sometimes it's neither..."

I have always liked "if your not having fun your not actually discgolfing"..and "they call it golf because all the other four letter words were taken".

Those 'shareways' out at Dabney were killing me during the tournament.

You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy.

"disc golfers have smoother approaches"

... this was a bumper sticker years ago, but for reasons beyond my comprehension they stopped making it...

I know know, its one I picked up playing Ball golf in High School but thought it sounded funnier in Disc Golf.

Funny thing is this was me this last weekend at Dabney after driving hole 5 to within 17 feet and then proceeding to skip my putter off the top of the basket to an exact position opposite side of the cage.
