Default Capital City Disc Golf (CCDG) starting the RIVAL CLUBS LEAGUE

Capital City Disc Golf is gearing up for a 2012 RIVAL CLUBS LEAGUE. This would be a series of disc golf events throughout the 2012 season by which Disc Golf Clubs would compete for points at one event at each clubs home course. A trophy would be awarded to the club with the most points at the end of the season and that trophy would be reused each year thereafter. Like the stanley cup or the bean pot. The details will be determined by the comity of tournament directors on Oct. 29th. CCDG is hosting the first meeting of the comity of T.D.s by invitation only. CCDG will be providing lunch and some prizes for a single round of 18 holes to the clubs that show up. Please take this seriously as only clubs at the meeting will be allowed in the league. For more information go to capitalcitydiscgolf.com or the Capital City Disc Golf profile on discgolfscene.com.

Default Rival Clubs League not like "Oregon series" but a NEW series in Oregon

No, not teams. Will be scored like a track & field event. No limit to number of players at each event yet points awarded to players and clubs for each div. victory. On Oct. 29th the comity of tournament directors (one T.D. from each club involved) will establish the format, rules, cost, dates, locations, etc. Mark my words, this RIVAL CLUBS LEAGUE will be a ton of fun and a great way for players to travel to other courses and play with their peers from their home course in singles round but put the smack down on other clubs at the same time.
