I personnaly dont like Trojan, it scares me too much, haha.
I do like that its part of the Rose City Open though. Its a great course for sure, and not really that far from Pier. And, the way the tourney is set up, you dont have to play a round at one course and have to drive to the other course during your lunch break. you play 2 rounds at one course then the next day you play the other course.

I do love the idea of Hornings being used as a PDGA tourney weekend. Its gonna have 3, 18 hole courses soon, and its got plenty of camping area for everyone. It should definitely be considered part of an ORS type series event in the near future.

One-tenth?!?! May the ghost of Grandma Horning strike you down!

I'd take HH over MM any day. But then I can't throw 400 feet...

i've never played hornings, but i have a hard time believing that it's anywhere near the caliber as milo. hornings (the venue) has a dear place in my heart as i have seen numerous shows there... i know how special that area is.
perhaps i should quit being such a slacker and play it sometime.

Let's face it, it's just to hard to compare courses. Every course has pluses and minuses, and to say one is better than another is like arguing about which putter is the best. When everyone knows a Soft Magnet is best ... lol

my only concern last year was no camping option, which i think make the oregon series better... I loved GNO, BSF, *not so much for shootout brrrr*, Calapooia, Eugene celebration because of camping... If Trojan is still a course for Rose City, I would like to see a camping option at Trojan..

Default The Trojans have it.

I stand corrected. Have fun at the Rose City.

Uh oh... looks like someone needs a WAAAmbulance.

I think we will have fun at the Rose City Open. Sounds like there will be less whining than there could have been...

Could camping be an option at Trojan? I know of an organization that will be holding a weekend campout at the park in the near future, so the idea may not be out of the question.

When I played Trojan last summer, there was some kind of overnight group packing up while we were playing. The PGE Web page doesn't say anything about group camping though; you'd have to contact someone there.

I think the Boy Scouts have campouts there during the summer.

They do indeed. There will be a large campout there in April - 24th - 26th, I believe.

The '05 Full Sail NW series tourny at the, then temp course, trojan course, there was camping at the parking lot by the entrance. From what I remember, the bathrooms were all the way across the park. So yes, they have had camping there before.
