Default Lost at cell 6/2/11...Dabney Doubles

Andy Cox came up to me at the end of the night and told me he lost his cell somewhere on the course. If you find it I know you will make Andy happy and he will probably kick you a nice finders fee. Let me know if you find it and I'll get ahold of Andy.

Thank you,

Kevin

Default Result from 6/02/11

Well it looks like this is going to be a great night for golf!
The Ace pot is at $98 bones.

Here are the results from last week .

As of now I have had 148 different players show up to play The Dubs at least once... Excellent!

I don't think I have mentioned it yet this year... I want to thank every single person that has helped me in the beginning with sign-ups, filling out cards, checking the cards at the end of the round (while I get payouts ready), and in general just want to help me make this the best Dubs.

Thank you - T-Ry (captain), The Brit, Chris Graham, Tom Dooley, Eddie F., Dizzy, Old Man Mike, Crist Garcia.

Kevin

That's fair for folks that can't make them all. Right on. I don't think I ever "threw out" that many rounds (compared by percentage) in any season of Lunchtime League that I ran, now that I think about it.

I never did in the past and then someone several years ago brought up the idea. So for the last couple of years I have tried throwing out 3,4,5,and now 6 tournies...it brings the people next to the top 12 that much closer.

It sounds like your methods are weighted toward the "regular suspects" .

Pretty cool - if it works the way I think it does - What would happen to someone who showed up to play only 6 rounds??

I throw 19 tournies throught the spring/summer. If the person only shows up for 6 tournies...that means he/she missed 13 other tournies which would count as one of the 6 scores I throw out.

Default Results for 7/14/11

Hey, Hey, Hey!!!

It looks like I was able to get this posted before my computer goes BOOM !

We had a great turn out last night... 57 players came out and played a round at The Dubs .

Starting last week we have started to take points away from players (throwing out 6 tournies) and it is starting to bunch up at the top. If you notice Camo has had the lead for most of the summer, but there is a player out there I don't know if you have heard of this guy...Brody Miller. Only 7pts. back from the lead.

First time ever...EVER!! We may have a person make the Top 12 and play in less than 1/2 the tournies... Pinkal! The way Pinkal has placed here he may only need a couple more events to secure a Top 12 place. He has shown up to four times (twice for Sunday and two other times) and has come in first 3x and second 1x.... Nice shooting Tex

Thank you for the CTP's last night
Ty Baker and The Brit $15 on hole #17 - Congrats to Paul Ricker
Charlie T. another kick azz plate on hole #5 - Congrats to Krissy

See you next week!!!!

Kevin
