In case you were wondering it is the mighty Willamette river that got high enough yesterday and today to basically plug up the Calapooia river forcing some of that water into the park. Shoot portions of the park & DGC still weren't dried out from this winter before this present from Mother Nature. We have our fingers crossed that we won't have a repeat of last year when Bryant was closed for most of June...
The DGCA did not want to relocate hole #8, but our hand was forced as the softball outfield fence has been moved back 15' into #8's tee area.
For safety sake there simply wasn't enough room left to keep the hole where it was.
