If no one has really explained to you what these courses have in store for you, go practice trojan a few times before the memorial heh. I think Trojan is the closest thing to practicing FH in Oregon. I love FH, but I haven't done better than a 58, +3, it's all those damn OB's and the wind, omg, last year's 1st round must have been in the 30-40 mph range and whew what a rough front 9 it was. And yeah, don't go in the water, the first year I was there I went in after a few discs that barely rolled into OB or skipped in there, didn't think much of it, ofc no one tells the Deaf guy anything until it's too late. The next time I went back, well I wasn't touching no water... gross... One buddy of mine actually went out for a while out there getting his discs and became horribly sick for a week.... bleh.
