Well the first week is in the books. We had great weather for what the forcast was. Didn't rain one little bit. We had 8 people show up. We all played in the same group. It's fun that way. That's the cool thing about so few people is that you get to see the whole battle. We voted random doubles. The gig went like this.
Jesse and Mike shot a 46 for a -11
Carl and Mark shot a 50 for a -7
Jerimiah and kyle shot a 52 for a -5 , only team without a 4 , Kyle shot a 100 plus footer through some trees for the only eagle on the day.
Terry and John shot a 54 for a -3
The ace pot is up to $5.00 ( Carl owes $1.00 )
Terry,Jeni,John and Jerimiah are paid into both funds.
So the trophy fund is up to $41.00
And the cash payout fund is up to $40.00
Carl said count him in on both funds.
Mike and Kyle from Evergreen said they hoped to make for the whole series as well.
Carl,Mike and Kyle can't get off till right at 5.00 so we will be starting just as soon as the 5.00 o'clockers get to the park. If you are going to arrive late. You can still play. I will figure out something to include you. Add you to a cali, a team with a junior. Let you make up the holes at the end if playing singles. I realize not everybody can be there right at five. It's just assures we get a full 18 holes in.
Forgot to do the C.T.P. not sure who had the closest drive all day. So will do it next time. Going to be making a Tuesday scorecard. It will have 18 spots to advertise on. Selling 1 per hole. They will be $20.00 to sponser a hole for the year. That will get you on the weekly scorecard. A sign for the year for the course. And mentioned wherever possible. The first 12 will go to the trophy fund and the last 6 will go to the cash fund. Also be doing a fundraiser tournament before the year is out. Till next time.
