I am definitely an environmentalist, but let's face it, one tree, not the end of the world, and as stated in the news article to build the trail and connecting bridge they want it's the most ideal spot that works, without having to take out even more trees. Plus they are planting dozens more sequoias in the barren dog park area across the tracks... seems like a win-win to me... though I'm sure the tree would argue otherwise. As far as the lady in the video saying she's going to cry if the tree is cut down, and the guy who tried to fight the parks department on this, I think they should choose their battles a little more wisely, this doesn't even amount to a drop in the bucket. Of course, I might be just a
little biased considering the rumors of additional disc golf holes...
