OMG! Blue Lake really is the REAL DEAL!

This course is really the EPIC disc golf experience we've been waiting for.

Dave Feldberg's vision of this course was to create a WORLD CLASS GOLD course, that would challenge INTERNATIONAL professional disc golfers with a course that requires EVERY shot making scenario for a professional disc golfer to shoot well below par.

The hole designs are completely fair and all par 4's and par 5's require PLACEMENT GOLF in order to achieve par or better. There are multiple routes on most holes. This will be the course that coupled with Milo McIver, will elevate Oregon Disc Golf to the ELITE level of disc golf regions to be able to host World Class disc golf events.

This is a HEROIC ACHIEVEMENT for Stumptown Disc Golf and the relentless hard work of all the volunteers have truly made this course a cut above the rest and it will prove to be a LANDMARK in Oregon disc golf destinations.

My feeling initially was that this course would be too difficult but it's final layout is truly LEGIT enough of a design that a really good advanced Master can shoot par or below as this course truly rewards the type of golfer that emphasizes PLACEMENT in front of just RAW DISTANCE.

I can't express enough gratitude for all the volunteers and work party helpers that made this course possible. This course is going to be a huge success for Fairview Parks and will become the new benchmark for future courses.

As I said before, this course rewards the player that emphasizes PLACEMENT before distance.

The rough along the mowed fairways is really NASTY, so if you plan on SPRAYING drives all over the course, make sure you bring a lot of extra discs as you will most likely lose a lot of plastic in the rough. The rough along the fairways is just as NASTY and unforgiving as TROJAN so if you plan on throwing in the rough, make sure you have a lot of money to spend on replacing your lost discs.
