Chuck does this count?

Not my picture but I'm curious if this counts as supported by the chains. Never seen this happen before.

One interprtation

Seems to be supported entirely by the chains. It's good!

That's my thought to. It's clearly not supported by any extremity of the basket. It is supported by the hook of the chains. I'd count it.

I would count it. But I could see where the RC might argue that it's more of an equipment "malfunction" similar to a wedgie, i.e. "if the basket gaps were smaller we wouldn't get wedgies and if the hooks were closed properly we wouldn't get shots like the one pictured."

I'd count it too, but the putt was not a good putt.

99% of the time, a putt that high on the chains would not end up in the basket.

Time to tighten the S hooks on that basket.
