Milo McIver Online is now up finally!

Sorry this took so long.

http://bullseyediscgolf.com/or-courses/milo-mciver-27-layout/milo-mciver.html

I have been dreading doing this for years. With it's multiple layouts and multiple par 4 & 5's this was a very labor intensive course to get online. Knowing this was going to take between 40-50 hours made it go on the back burner for many years.

If you can't be there in person, you may as well flake out on work and just troll around and pretend you're there!

Should come in handy for out of town folks who want to do a little online course management for Beaver State Fling.

With the newer tees, many of the old hole distances are out of date. If anyone wants to help volunteer, this would be a good thing to get completed.

I have been solidifying how to evolve Bullseyediscgolf.com into the next phase, and getting all the premier courses up and all my video up are the top 2 main priorities.

Next course should be Whistler's Bend.

I have been doing these course tours with a couple different methods and I'm curious what people think is the better way to do it?
Please offer your opinions:

One method is where I show the entire tee on the tee image. Others is where I stand on the tee and only show the front foot and a half. The pros and cons are: showing the entire tee generally makes a prettier picture but it's harder to see up the fairway. Showing only the front of the tee offers a better view of the hole but doesn't make as pretty of an image of the hole .

The other thing I do on some holes and not other holes is that on some holes I drew and showed the tee location from the basket shots looking back to the tee. Sometimes I think this is necessary to show the hole in a useful way but other times I feel it's overkill and I'm ruining a pretty picture with that yellow box drawing.

I honestly don't know what's better, I'm still trying to sort it out.

Site looks great!

Fact check: alcohol IS allowed at McIver, but there is a 1-keg-per-party limit.

Thanks Gawain, I will fix that.

For those who are observant, they will notice that the genius Hole 9E features a "Blast from the Past" showing the old hole with the old tree going straight up the gap. When this tree was there it was more a legit par 4, I always thought it just fell down but I suspect some disgruntled golfer chopped it down. I have not examined the stump to see what happened but without that tree and the nice cement tee, this hole really plays more like a par 3.

Nah, just an easy par 4... it's an "1 out of 200 eagle 2" for the 1k rated players...

FYI: At last years Beaver State Fling the MPO field averaged 3.7 on that hole. The statement of it being an easier par 4 is closest to the truth.

It will not be used. The longer walk out disrupts the course flow and the basket is too close to the starting tee area at Hole 11.

3.7 average surprises me for Men's Pro Open. However I did notice on BeaverStateFling.com that it appears to be designated a par 3. Knowing that the average for last years MPO BSF was 3.7, tells me that probably the reason it's that high is that there is a percentage of players who are going to throw OB on their 2nd shot, thereby ending up carding a 5, pushing that average up.

I think it would be AWESOME to have OR tourney MPO and WPO hole averages on every hole online!
