Takena Landing in Albany

Last Sunday the DGCA roughed out a nine hole map for approval with Albany Parks and Rec. (It's basically a formality at this point since they already approved a course there) Takena Landing is on the North side of the Willamette River...directly across from Bryant.

Once we have the official seal of approval we'll be starting the cut in process.

This one will be a par 27 course with longest hole topping out inside the 400' mark. In the short term it will house the baskets from Bryant Park during the winter.

Anyone interested in donating time, money, or baskets (!!) please feel free to send me a PM or just post it here for everyone to see how awesome you really are!

With five dollars from every Slosh entry fee will going directly to the Lunchtime basket fund started by Dan Brown and DGOD, we feel we should be able to raise enough money for 4-5 more baskets to go along with the 9 baskets already funded by this awesome effort....

DGCourseReview

I posted a bunch of information about Takena Landing on DGCourseReview. Including a really rough map. I'm not affiliated with the DGCA, just a fan of the course, so I'm sure the designers could make a better map. Thanks to those who put in all the hard work. :yay:
