Alot of people here in the NW have no clue about the Discraft Ace Race.

Explain the layout, rules and how it all works would ya Bob?

Is this event in Washington or is it "other events?"

The Discraft AceRace is a really fun, low key event. I usually make it out to Dalaiwood for it with my 11yo son and we both have a great time playing, socializing and of course checking out a new, as yet unreleased disc. Looks like I'll be going again this year since the Flippen Ze Disc tourney got canceled.

The Ace Race is a fun event for all players. Everyone receives a player pack valued at more than the cost of the entry fee. Yet you are still competing for a Grand Prize.

The format for the Ace Race is 2 rounds of 18 holes. All the tee boxes are moved closer to the pin and you only throw one disc per hole. In the Spokane version of the Ace Race there are three ways to score, (1) by making an Ace and (2) by hitting the chains and (3) by hitting metal.

We also have an optional side pot for both Pros and Ams that pays cash.

I think the moderator moved this thread.
