Rick Reichard with a solid first round in MM1!

Bullseye July 26th, 2011 10:05 AM

I saw that. Sam Gibson's Ultimate Sandbagger title is clearly on the line.

Sam July 26th, 2011 10:10 AM

Whoa, whoa, whoa... I only have so many titles to give away, here...

GO GET 'EM, RICK!!

bryan_luoma July 26th, 2011 10:13 AM

You were looking too far down the list.

After shooting an unofficial 1001 rated round 1, he is currently leading the "Advanced Masters" division.

Although it looks like there are some ballers in pool F too (started on a different course, I suspect).

Rick still leads his pool after two rounds!

Go Rick!

(Is it possible that someone would still bag in AM divisions after winning a Worlds title?)

And what happened to Marcus Crespi? I can't seem to find him on the results page.

Eric Lund had a nice second round, and is in a good position in his pool.

I had to cancel the trip the day before I left due to work constraints...bummed out.

I think Rick meant to get on a plane to Santa Cruz but ended up in Rochester?

Scott July 27th, 2011 02:34 PM

RR shoot 54 in round 3 and extends his lead to six throws.

You don't believe me? :nono:

Got that from Rick's FB page.

Looks like 3rd round results aren't up yet.

Why would you think that I don't believe you? I was wondering where you got that from since the PDGA page hasn't been updated.

In any case I am glad to hear it!

Edit: Scores updated: http://www.pdga.com/tournament_results/16465

1001, 989, 1015 for Mr. Reichard...that is some damn fine shooting, sir!

Bring it home Rick and I hope you are wearing your shirt! :yay::rockon:

Impressive shooting indeed!

"2011 MM1 World Champion" has a nice ring to it.

From Rick on today's round (#4)

"Had a great first round. . . for the first 12 holes. The wheels came off a bit for the last 6. Scambled for a par and gained strokes on 2nd and 3rd but lost 2 to 4th. Still up by 6 on him tho."

and

"I had an eagle tho. Parked a technical 435 foot hole that is listed as a par 4. Oh and the 4th place (now 2nd) guy aced the first hole. I'll regroup and come back strong!"

Just kidding - please keep us posted Scott!

$5 to the first person posting a pic of Reichard in his Team Oregon shirt. You can get the PDGA I-phone App for that much!

Rick just said this:

"Not sure where my game was hiding but I found it again. My 6 stroke lead is now 15 =)"
