Dyed Discs
 

Ok. The dyed discs thread is one of my favorites, so, in hopes of seeing it take off here, I thought I'd start it. This is a disc that ChUcK dyed for me. I don't have it yet, but I am hoping it will be in the mail this week. It's the logo for my favorite Roller Derby team, The Heartless Heathers :drool:

Oh, and he dyed it on a Champion Monarch. Can't wait to see it!!!

That's GORGEOUS!! And on a Monarch...oh, so sweet. After throwing yours over a cliff I just had to run out and get one for myself.:biggrin2:

Started this thread on ODSA a long time ago, and its become the largest thread on there. I know not everyone on here is on ODSA anymore, so I am starting this thread on here for those who are disc dye artists, those who want to learn to ye, and those of you who just like to look at all the pretty discs :)

To start the thread and to remember the day (9/11), I'll start with this dye

I'd suggest two threads - a dyed disc gallery, and a disc dying discussion thread...

If I did that. I guarantee pics would be getting posted on both threads. I would most likely be guilty of that as well. :laughing:

I have been thinking for a long time how I could get "Trozzle" into a dye, and this is all i could come up with :trophy:

I think my next dye, along with the tourney discs i am dyeing is gonna be something like this :-D :laugh: :laugh:

its a bit simple for my taste, so I may add a disc, a beer, and a basket somewhere in the dye too :biggrin2:

Geezuz, and on the day after my first rounds of disc on a ball course, too! Some guy dropped one in our midst from a blind tee location. When he came over the rise in his golf cart, he apologized for bombing one in on us. We told him it made our game more exciting. No bad vibes were felt.

I couldn't help myself.
 

Ironically, the disc is a pink Destroyer. hmmmm.

Ryan, I would do almost anything to have Obama dyed on one of my discs. I have an Obama shirt that has a great design on it. I'll try and find a picture of it. :yay:

There's absolutely nothing ironic about that.

I'm just glad it's not a Boss! Too bad they don't make a disc called...uh nevermind...:whistler:

Great looking dye though Gwillim! I dig the storm trooper one too.
