Team Disc Golf: Week 4 Results

Upon further review...

Only 2 scores were wrong this week and only 1 changed the outcome of the match. In the afternoon match Brandon & Luke let the excitement of an ace on the final hole effect their math skills. 1 bird 1 ace and 1 bogey for a 25 on the back nine gave the match to Gawain & Cris. In the morning match Joe G didn't get 30 from 1 bird 2 bogeys and 1 double bogey but that didn't change the outcome of the match.

"Over the Hill" Bob December 8th, 2008 08:27 AM

Wow! I couldn't have played a worse second round if I tried. Funny though how a year ago I would have been ok with an 82. Jeff Hemmerling just plain schooled me in the afternoon. He was rock solid and gets a big :bowing:for playing so well. Even with the rain it was a fun day and always fun to golf with such great people. Tubbs, as always it was a pleasure. Got to give a shout out to my team mate Sean for her fantastic afternoon round. I've never seen her throw so well. Pretty much made my day to be on her card for that. Good job kiddo!

Bob

And as usual Jordan, you put on a fantastic event, week after week, year after year. The dogs hit the spot on a cold December day as usual. Thanks for all that you do for all of us.

Bob

3X9=27 par minus 1 bird 26 plus 2 bogies 28 plus 2 more from double= 30?? :whistler:

or 4 strokes from the bogies is a 31 minus 1 for the birdie =30 again.....to much math for JLew yesterday :explode:

:cheerleader: Thanx Jordan you  no matter your math skills :cheerleader:

Awww, thanks! I felt pretty good about my round in the beginning, but fell apart on that last nine. Damn wet clothes! Haha! I think you did well, Bob, considering it rained like hell and you're out there with bronchitis. Hope you're feeling better!

And as always, thanks Jordan! We had a great time yesterday, and the dogs were delicious! :pirate:

In the English language when a person writes "didn't" it is a contraction of the 2 words "did" and "not". As in "Joe DID NOT get 30 from...":pullhair:

Yeah, you and I and everybody EXCEPT for Joe got 30 from that scorecard. Joe G somehow got 29 from those scores!:headbang:

Will someone please tell me what they are talking about or suggesting... In the morning round I I did not keep score nor did I add up any score... I did not feel the need since I lost... So if anyone out there is suggesting that I am some kind of a "Brill", you should know me better then that...:nono:GREAT JOB BIG WINDS:evilgrin:

Joe, you should erase this comment, and replace it with a 2.

Nobody was calling you out personally just that your score was incorrect by a stroke that didn't matter. I was just mentioning the discrepancy in my report before my math skills were called into question. It's all good.

I have also run the new ratings for Week 5. I'll post those soon.:pirate:

Oh, and

you know, kel... There is a way for us to play each other this year.

Of course, you guys will have to figure a way out of second place in order for that to happen but i am sure you already figured that out, didn't you?
Sam it looks like you and Dark Horse are set for the end of the year match-up :nahnah:...can anyone say Big Winds .

Sam last question...How does second feel? :cool2:

Jordan...THANK YOU for all your hard work out there. I enjoy going to Dabney and not have to run anything. Great job with Team Golf AGAIN!!!

Pfft... as if you need to ask, Kevin. No worries, you'll be back there experiencing it soon enough - in case you forgot so quickly.

The funny thing is... I think pretty much everyone knows it, too. Ask Joe. He knows it. :D

Haha I knew someone would notice. I wasn't trying to lower my handicap, I just wasn't trying. There is a point in a round where if I'm a certain wetness, I just give up. I reached that point very quickly in the second round. :bricks:

I know what you mean, that round was almost as wet as last years Dabney match. I had about six dry towels LOCKED in Roger's car that laughed at me when I walked by. :headbang::headbang:

Back where we belong...

Youth = Athletic ability. Age = Mental toughness. Hang in there Brody, I watched James Moore outgrow that phase, and you will too! If you can retain that youthful strength and ability, while your mental toughness and judgment develop, you will round yourself out into the Total Golfer!

Sam December 9th, 2008 10:18 PM

Yeah, man. You too, Joe. I mean... how bad do you have to lose to not even know what the score is? Or care? :D

Can't play with you? You're right. Pity for your walking wounded prevents us...
