Huge difference... I purchased the Innova Back Saver straps, thinking I would save the 15 bucks and that I wasn't a wuss, so Ididn't need the shock absorbing elastic straps, and I had the Innova's for less than two weeks, when they began to rip on the right shoulder about five inches long. I contacted disc golf center where I purchased them and they were nice enough to give me a store credit for the Innova straps and I paid the extra 15 for Phenix quadshocks. Not only have i been using them for 6 months with no rips, but they really do absorb alot of the weight of the bag, now i consider myself foolish for not going ahead with them in the first place. It is a mistake I will never make again. seriously makes my bag feel about ten pounds lighter, especially when walking. Also I am fairly large and the phenix have plenty of length, I even hadto sinch them up a bit whereas the Innova's were at thier max length and it was a struggle to get my second arm through them each time I picked up my bag to put it back on after parking the next hole;)
