Woodmansee Park now features disc golf course

"Now"? :rolleyes2:

In all fairness to the Statesman-Journal:

It actually says: "Woodmansee Park nowfeatures disc golf course"
Nowfeatures could be some kind of new fangled word for "9 months ago unveiled a," or something along those lines.

It is true that the park now features disc golf. It is just incomplete, and it leads to a false conclusion that the course just opened.

Most importantly, and I can't stress this enough, the Statesman-Journal is likely the worst newspaper I have ever read. I am including in that pool my local neighborhood papers, my old high school paper, and USA Today.

And by the way...

I played at Woodmansee for the first time a couple weeks ago. I wasn't expecting much. I think I had heard it was mediocre, but I don't remember the source. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a terrific little course. Nice wooded holes with good challenges. Great job to all who helped get the course in the ground!
