It's interesting to see that Tracey has those discs in her bags. I would had thought she would have some heavier discs than the 150s. She is an excellent player.

I am a much larger woman with quite some muscles in my arms so I tend to go towards the heavier discs (160s) and it feels comfortable with those in my hands.

My partner is learning her area of strength - which happens to be the forearm! Wow! She can only play when her back is not bothering her - so I'm happy when she can play!
      In her bag?
      Drivers
      150g Innova Sidewinder
      150g Innova Cheetah
      150g Innova Viking
      150g Innova Leopard
      150g Innova Wraith

      Midrange
      150g Innova Wolf
      150g Innova Spider
      167g Innova Stingray

      Putter
      175g Innova Pro-Pig (for putting)
      149g Innova Aero

(I will be putting more in her bag so she can practice when I'm not home....)

Cindy -- I love the roadunner - If I can I would throw another one in my bag... (I lost one of them at tournament (Yauger Park)). How are you doing on working with different kinds of discs? (What about Marcella's bag?)

Steve who is your girlfriend? Guys who post for their sig. others please post names or screen names, so us other chicks can know who you are talking about. This may be a really good way for more chickflickers to be brought into the fold. Like for monthly chickflicks, and our big tournament later this summer.

LegoRules... I use 2 laptops, a mac and a pc, just about all the time, so I can be a little fast, hence my nick name, SNAP, for the very exact reason...
And to answer Mystjava.... It took Tracey, my fiance', a long time to get down to these discs.. While I was still learning the weights and flights of all the discs, Tracey was throwing in the 165-170 range and it was not working at all, we decided to drop her down to the 145-162 range per a professional's advice and she has become more consistent. Even her putting game as improved with the 18g drop in putter weight. Even the women that I have played with, i have taken Tracey's 2nd 150 putter and replaced whatever 170+ putter they were using and they could tell the difference easily...
Men and Women cannot be compared for size and strength as they are developed internally very differently from each other. Men can throw heavier discs based on their anatomy, their muscles and their ability to coordinate more torque/snap to throw these discs in GENERAL.
Also, one thing I notice is that a lot of people try to throw every disc 100 percent to get the results they want and once they drop down to 90 percent, the disc goes hard overstable... to me that means they need to drop down the weight and stability of the disc... going all out everytime just to get that flight pattern you want will wear you out fast and lead to many overstable flights. Again that's just me from observations with Tracey and myself... My son throws 128-132 and that is quite heavy for him although he can get it to fly beautifully but would be better if he had some 100g discs...

Ahhh.. That's cool that Z's throwing some good discs! Glad to hear that.... Of course... I've noticed it also which is why I am trying to bring most of my discs to the lower 160's instead of the higher 160's. :-)

Cindy - try that Roadrunner out on your anny throws. I think that disc will hold the line better for ya than the Sidewinder will.

                        My bag's current lineup:

150 DX Destroyer - only used on holes where I need that hard fade at the end or a big S
150 DX Starfire - beat, used for anhyzers, super flippy.
161 DX Starfire - my go to driver
161 Champion Starfire - this one's on "trial" status in my attempt to switch over to Champion plastic. I'm not sold on it yet.
165 DX Valkyire - short tight hyzer shots mostly
175 DX Cro - approach and midrange
                        175 DX XD - putts

Ok this is what i can remember while I am sitting at work, I will be updating it when I get home to check my bag

                              165 Pro Valkyrie
                              165 Champion Firebird
                              165 ArchAngel
                              164 Champion Beast (brand new)
164 custom dyed Wraith (I have yet to throw it, trojan is way to easy to lose discs at)
                              163 glow #3 flyer (floater)
                              162 custom dyed Orc
160 DX wraith - taken from Zippyboy, I really want one at this weight in champion
                              158 champion Gazelle
                              154 champion Monarch
                              150 pro Teebird -L
                              150 Dragon
                              150 champion Banshee
                              149 tie dye Leapord
167 2007 Ace race disc (I have no idea what it is)
                              167 Buzz
                              167 champion Coyote
                              164 champion Shark
                              161 Star Kite
                              150 DX Kite
                              172 XD

I think I need to thin down my bag a little and start switching out depending on which course I am at, that seems like a ton of discs. Everytime we go disc shopping I pick up anything I can find in the 154-162 range, that is my prefered range and they are so hard to find.

I love seeing what other people are throwing and learning what I can most likely find in the weights I want.
